Othala proves itself well suited to the showing forth and passage through the works of books. It has useful arts within it, as a built-in wordbook that rises when one touches upon a word. Therefore it seems fitting to set aside a hall wherein the contents of books are rendered into the press.

Yet this labour is not light, for the making of such leaves requires effort, and so this hall shall never stand in rivalry with Alexandria nor any such grand archive. Moreover, it is my desire that the collection remain in accord with the themes already woven through this place: the meeting and mingling of heathen old ways and the rites of Holy Church.
